After spending an academic year at the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths-University of London and receiving a DAAD research scholarship for Tokio she completed her Master\u2019s Degree in Cultural History and Theory at the Humboldt University of Berlin with a thesis about rope bondage as an aesthetical figure of enabling passivity.<\/span> Afterwards, she was a Junior Fellow at the International Research Center for Cultural Studies in Vienna and is currently pursuing her PhD at the Graduate Center for the Study of Culture at Justus-Liebig University in Giessen. Her thesis focuses on the mediation of consent practices through contemporary queer-feminist workshop formats.
