Sofie Fingado studied Cultural History and Theory and Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin and its partner universities in Tel Aviv and Copenhagen. She completed her M.A. studies in February 2022 with a thesis titled \u00bbTroubled Masculinities at Guant\u00e1namo Bay. Distant Relatives and the Peripheries of the \u203aGlobal War on Terror\u2039\u00ab. After the completion of her studies, she received a Research Track scholarship by the Humboldt Graduate School and was part of the research training group \u00bbThe Sentimental in Literature, Culture, and Politics\u00ab at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg.
